The ICAP course consists of 3.5 years of hands-on training followed by 3.5 years of theoretical education.

The CA course offered by ICAP is divided into four steps: PRC, CAF, CFAP, and MSA. There are five papers in the PRC stage, two groups in the CAF stage (groups A and B), four papers in group A and four papers in group B, six papers in the CFAP stage, and two papers in the MSA stage but not in the CAF stage.
