This is the primary scheme for recruiting officers for the Pakistan Navy. Candidates are inducted as PN Cadets twice a year under this scheme. After completing two years of initial training, this type of commission is available in the branches of Operations, Weapon Engineering, Marine Engineering, and Supply.

The Pakistan Navy is one of the third battle branches of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The Pakistan Navy was established in 1947, following Pakistan’s independence from British India.

Pakistan Naval Branch secures Pakistan’s maritime defence lines as well as all movements related to Pakistan’s ports and seas. The force is also responsible for any difficulty or fighting situation that arises, and it is prepared to deal with any disruption at any time.

Educational Qualifications Requirements:

The candidate must have completed both Matriculation and FSc or O/A Level with at least 60% marks in any of the following subjects (Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry – Physics, Maths, and Computer Science – or Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics). Candidates for the O/A level must provide an equivalence certificate. Candidates for F.Sc Part-II who have obtained at least 60% in Part-I are eligible. They must, however, provide a certificate of hope.
